We have been thinking about the 34 year history of Collector’s Choice, how many artists have participated (thousands!) and how many collectors started and added to their collection year in and year out. We have reached out to some of our friends who have purchased at Collector’s Choice to ask them about a particular work of art—we are posting their stories on our blog over the next few weeks. We bought Rob Pulleyn's piece, "Lush Life Bottle Form #1” from Winter Show 2007, because we were drawn to his color choices of pale yellows and blues on a larger piece of pottery. Also, there are clever and humorous imprints on this piece that are fun to interpret. We have this piece on a traditional style low cabinet in our dining room. I like how this modern-style piece of pottery stands out on this traditional furniture.
