Joyce Wynes - I absolutely love Bearden's work. When the "Southern Recollections" Exhibit was at the Mint Museum Uptown in Charlotte, I submitted my collage in a competition sponsored by the Mint and Creative Loafing Magazine and it won. It was hung up at the exhibition at the Mint during its stay there. It was exciting. And I got one of his books as a prize as well. I will try to see the exhibit if I get that way.
