December 1978-
Green Hill Art Gallery sent out its very first newsletter, titled "Update", to the growing number of Green Hill members. Within the newsletter, new and exciting plans for Green Hill were discussed as the Gallery's services to the community expanded. Green Hill thanked current volunteers for their efforts and pushed for new volunteers to take part in enriching both the gallery and the community with their talent. The upcoming December show, titled "No Small Thing" was announced with stimulating language about the various artists' works within the show, a reception with refreshments, and even a live music event with the UNCG saxaphone Quartet and the In-Time Jazz Quintet. This first newsletter also revealed the Gallery's upcoming move to the Arts Center, sharing details and floor plans with members.
