December 4, 2016 - January 13, 2017

Curated by Edie Carpenter, Winter Show brings together over 120 artists each year from across North Carolina and constitutes a comprehensive survey of the finest art and crafts being produced in the state. The artists come from around the state, with a mix of mediums including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramic, jewelry, woodwork, fabric and fiber works, all within a harmonious installation. Artists showing work in the exhibition vary not only by mediums, but also by experience, background and perspective. The public is invited to view a carefully curated selection of works from emerging and returning North Carolina artists in The Gallery at GreenHill. With over 500 works all available for sale, Winter Show is the quintessential showing of art produced by North Carolina artists today.

Winter Show opens to the public, Sunday, December 4 from 2 to 5pm.

First Choice is an exclusive art buying opportunity on Wednesday evening, November 30, from 5:30 - 7:30pm. Patrons buy art credit at $500, $1,000 or $2,500 increments which is applied toward the purchase of their artwork.

Winter Show opens with one of Greensboro’s most popular holiday season events: the Collector’s Choice Fundraiser on December 3, 2016 at 7pm. The Fundraiser provides a rare opportunity to truly become engaged with the very best art North Carolina has to offer. Participants have an advance opportunity to purchase pieces in Winter Show before they are available to the public and to meet and mix with exhibiting artists over food and wine. Tickets after 12/2/16 are available at the door for $90. Admission is by list at the door.

All members of GreenHill are eligible for a special discounted ticket price of $70 per person.

  • Members at the $125 Contributor level get 10% off art purchases.
  • Members at the $500 Donor level get two free tickets to Collector’s Choice.
