Boys and Girls Club
GreenHill positively impacts students attending Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Greensboro by providing after-school therapeutic art workshops for students in K - 2nd and 3rd - 5th grades, offering the opportunity for self-expression in a supportive and engaging environment. GreenHill’s education team and art therapist have developed workshops directly related to exhibitions in the galleries to best meet the needs of the students. Annually, GreenHill engages the students in learning about presenting their artwork as well as creating a shared experience for the students and the community through an exhibition of student work hosted by The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club, fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment.
This program is made possible by the Kinder Morgan Foundation and Volvo Financial Services.
