Shop Pick - Carolina Grain Co.

We are thrilled to introduce you to Andrew McCarn of Carolina Grain Co. Andrew is a woodworker, graphic designer and photographer, and lover of holiday decorations (ask him about his stash of Halloween decor). His home and wood shop are located in the small town of Lexington, NC. He says he got his start in his high school shop classes: "I instantly fell in love in with woodworking. After I graduated high school, the ability to do it was quickly gone because of availability of tools but then a blessing came when I found a great deal on some standard tools. Finally, I was able to start again, and since then I have been working to improve my skills & be the best I can be." He mostly makes kitchenware, all of which are finished with a food-safe mixture of mineral oil and beeswax. We have a collection of cutting boards, spoons, spatulas, and spreaders in the shop, so come on down and take a look!
