MY INTERNSHIP BY JONAS PROCTON

As an intern at ArtQuest, I saw both the creative and business aspects of Green Hill. My first assignment was to call printing companies to ask for paper donations, after which I helped to clean and organize the basement. By the second day, I began to help compile a list of items for the You Have a Friend Auction, and then ventured through the streets of downtown Greensboro putting up flyers for the event. All the while, I worked with building blocks, painting, and ceramics, helping to redesign one of ArtQuest’s rooms. After playing with a group of kids towards the end of the week, I saw how important ArtQuest is for these children.
