Hands on at Home (k-2nd grade)
PAPER HOUSES
Learn three simple ways to turn a sheet of paper into a house! All three projects are based on the same folding activity and reinforce basic paper-folding skills, eye-hand coordination, and math concepts.
If your child is new to paper folding, help them through the first few times. Paper folding is a skill that becomes second-nature with practice.
Materials for these projects are: 8.5 x 11 paper and scissors.
Materials to have on hand to decorate are: crayons, markers, glue and colored paper of any type (try using junk mail!)
We'd love to see your child's finished project! Send jpeg images to greenhill@greenhillnc.org with your child's first name and age or use #virtualgreenhill on your social media.
