Jordan Robinson
Robinson, a member of GreenHill's board, is collaborating with our curatorial team on conversations exploring African American perspectives through art. His Transparency Project empowers transgender communities by using the platform of art.
Project Overview
In light of ongoing political tension around Transgender rights, such as the House Bill 2 controversy in North Carolina, and the President’s Executive Order to no longer accept Transgender recruits into the U.S. Military, the interest in a production in support of the Transgender community has been expressed to Jordan Robinson, founder of JTR Presents. Consequently, JTR Presents (a brand strategy and consulting firm) is producing an exhibition, titled “The Transparency Project”, to empower Transgender communities by using the arts to tell their individual and collective stories and regain their own agency.
• Use art as a platform for the Transgender community
• Provide a forum for communities to interact with the artists and the Transgender community
• Offer resources and materials for communities to mobilize and support the Transgender community
• Engage North Carolinians in advocating for the Trans community
