ANNUAL MEETING + QUINTESSENTIAL SOUTHERN COCKTAIL COMPETITION AND GOOD EATS AUCTION (NOW THAT’S A MOUTHFUL!)
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 21, 2017 | 5:30 - 8:30 PM
Each June, GreenHill hosts its Annual Meeting where we provide a year-in-review and a preview of the upcoming year. At this meeting a slate of new board members will be voted on by GreenHill’s membership followed by a guest speaker, Phil Sanders: Why Buying Art of Contemporary Artists is Important—Making a Difference, Building a Legacy.
QUINTESSENTIAL SOUTHERN COCKTAIL COMPETITION + GOOD EATS AUCTION | 6:30 PM
Before we know it, the heat of summer will be upon us, and Southern hospitality is a must with ice cold cocktails on wide front porches. You may not have a veranda, but you may have a very favorite specialty summer cocktail. If so, would it stand up to a little competition? We invite you to try with our first ever Quintessential Southern Cocktail Competition. With up to six cocktails being tested and judged via popular vote, you can become the winner a set of hand-blown glasses by Amber Marshall. We will pair the cocktails with Good Eats provided by NC-owned business, Biscuitville. The fun will not end there-we will also host a food-themed auction with 10 fabulous items, from learning how to make a special home brew to getting your hands in dough while learning how to throw a pizza.
RESERVATIONS FOR THIS EVENT ARE NOW CLOSED.
